Conceptual Poster Design | Basic Graphic Design

This poster was created as part of an assignment focused on minimalist and conceptual visual storytelling. The challenge was to convey the core themes and emotional tone of a chosen film using only graphic elements—without photography—while applying the principles of design discussed in class.

I chose the film Lucy, and centered the concept around the transformation of the human mind. The equation “2+2=” breaks into chaos, dissolving into an energetic burst of neon light to visually represent the film’s core idea: the expansion of human intelligence and perception beyond normal limits. The minimal composition, dark background, and intense contrast between type and glowing linework help evoke the mysterious, cerebral, and high-energy mood of the film.

This project explores how simple forms and strong concepts can carry powerful visual meaning through intentional design.
